    CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) – Your First Step into Motorcycling

    What is CBT?

    Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) is the essential first step for anyone looking to ride a motorcycle or scooter on UK roads. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some prior experience, this one-day course is designed to equip you with the fundamental skills and confidence needed to ride safely.

    What to Expect

    During the course, our experienced instructors will guide you through:
    ✔ Introduction to Motorcycling – Understanding the basics, including safety gear, motorcycle controls, and road awareness.
    ✔ Off-Road Training – Practicing essential skills in a safe, controlled environment before heading onto the road.
    ✔ On-Road Riding – A supervised ride to help you gain real-world experience and confidence on public roads.

    By the end of the course, you’ll be able to ride safely with L-plates on a 125cc motorcycle or scooter, opening the door to your motorcycling journey.

    Who Can Take This Course?

    ✔ Aged 16+ (for 50cc mopeds) or 17+ (for 125cc motorcycles)
    ✔ Hold a UK provisional or full driving licence
    ✔ No prior experience needed – we’ll teach you everything from scratch!

  • DAS direct access scheme

    Direct Access Training

    Go Further.
    For those ready to step up to bigger, more powerful motorcycles, the Direct Access course is the next stage in your riding journey. Depending on your age, you’ll train and take your test on either an A2 (restricted) or A (unrestricted) motorcycle. The process begins with CBT, followed by the theory test, then Mod 1 and Mod 2 practical exams. Once completed, you’ll be licensed to ride up to 47bhp (A2) or any motorcycle, unrestricted (A). We’ll guide you through every step, ensuring you’re fully prepared for the road ahead.

    Refresher Course

    Sometimes life gets in the way and we have to change our priorities. This can be for any reason. The important thing is about getting back on two wheels. So for those who haven’t ridden in a while or for those who maybe need just a bit more confidence in their own riding abilities this would be the course for you

    This course is designed for those who have not ridden in a while and want to take some training to get back to what they love.

    This course is also a great opportunity to support riders who feel they may be struggling in certain areas of riding.

    This would be tailored to your needs, depending on whether its slow control, busy environments or just riding in general sometimes a reassuring voice is all that someone might need.
